The adidas Tyshawn is the debut skate shoe for team rider and 2018 Thrasher Magazine Skateboarder of the Year, Tyshawn Jones. The dynamic New York City-born skater has received lofty praise thanks to his impressive skate clips on social media as well as an inspirational performance on Supreme’s “Blessed” skate video that was released in 2018. As for the sneaker, Tyshawn, known as one of the most athletically gifted skateboarder of all time, draws upon classic performance basketball mid-tops for the design vision while still retaining core down-to-skate aesthetics and tech. The upper is comprised of buttery green suede including overlays on the toe, eyelets, heel, and mid-panel. Contrasting white leather adidas Three Stripes branding appears on the mid-panel with Tyshawn branding in gold foil on the lateral panel. Tonal green laces with gold adidas branding on the tongue out the finishing touches on the upper. Below, a white rubber midsole with an accenting gold trim and traction bottom for board grip. The adidas Tyshawn was released during summer 2019.
