The Toy Story x adidas Stan Smith “Rex the Dinosaur” is a collaboration between the computer animated comedy film franchise and adidas on the old school tennis shoe in a colorway inspired by Toy Story’s “Rex the Dinosaur” character. The fun-loving “Rex the Dinosaur” version of the adidas Stan Smith is one of two colorways of the shoe that features imagery and branding that shows love to the cast of Toy Story. As one could imagine, the “Rex the Dinosaur” honors the character of the same name from Toy Story by appearing in green textured leather, a nod to the dinosaur’s scaly body. Perforated Three Stripes detailing appears on both sides. Cheeky “It’s Not Easy” and “Being Green” detailing is found on the back of the left and right shoe, respectively. A portrait-style photo of “Rex the Dinosaur” is printed on the tongue tag of the left shoe, replacing the image of tennis player Stan Smith, who appears on the tongue of the right shoe.
