The Marvel x adidas Stan Smith “I Am Groot” is a collaboration between the comic book publisher and adidas on the classic tennis shoe in a colorway that celebrates sustainability by honoring the green superheroes found in Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars and Disney films. The “I Am Groot” nods to the Guardians of the Galaxy’s Flora species, and features a white leather upper that is made partially with recycled materials. The smiling graphic on the lateral side of the heel symbolizes the Galaxy’s youthful vibe, while gold foil “I Am Groot” branding is incorporated into the design of the perforated Three Stripes detailing on the sides.
