The Slam Jam x adidas POD S3.1 is a premium edition of the new-age silhouette by the renowned Italian retailer and the adidas Consortium imprint. This winter 2018 collaboration paired old and new adidas silhouettes. Slam Jam combined the classic Superstar and the modern POD S3.1 in refined cream white leather constructions. The POD S3.1 features a combination of leather and mesh for the upper with contrasting black accents for the TPU midfoot shank and heel tab detailing. Slam Jam branding is added to the midsole foam, while the traditional adidas Consortium tongue tabs are co-branded with Slam Jam on the right and adidas on the left.
