Elite high school basketball players on the AAU circuit look forward to the annual Elite Youth Basketball League (aka the EYBL). Along with exposure to college scouts, one of the perks of the tourney is the opportunity to receive shoes in special colorways. For 2017, Nike cooks up this version of its newest player model, Nike PG 1. It features a full black suede upper and strap with a mesh toe-box. But the highlight of the design is the multicolor Swoosh, which features an iridescent finish. Two-toned speckling on the midsole and an opaque white outsole also add a nice touch. Hits of teal, green, and magenta on the inner bootie are a tribute to the cities where the 2017 EYBL was held. This shoe released exclusively at Foot Locker House of Hoops in Harlem.
