The Nike PG 1 launched in 2017 as NBA basketball player Paul George joined the ranks of Nike athletes with a signature shoe. The low-top performance basketball shoe employs asymmetrical material-blocking with breathable mesh on the medial side and synthetic suede on the lateral. An adaptive lacing system locks the foot in place. The shoe also comes with custom lace locks and a midfoot strap. The Nike PG 1 offers a red upper with black detailing, a speckled white midsole, and a black sole.
