The Women’s adidas NMD_R1 “Black/Metallic Gold” is a women’s colorway of the casual and comfortable shoe by adidas that was instrumental in the popularity of the “sock-sneaker” movement. Along with the adidas Ultra Boost, the NMD model caught the attention of dedicated and casual sneaker collectors in the middle of the 2010s due to its clean lines and superior comfort, and that’s no exception to the “Black/Metallic Gold.” Breathable black Primeknit covers the entire upper except for the painted Three Stripes branding on either side, the plastic eyelets, and the heel counter on the back of the shoe. Tonal “adidas” branding is found on the knit tongue and the black nylon pull tab on the heel. Adidas paints the Boost cushioned midsole black and the midfoot insert Metallic Gold. The Continental Rubber outsole provides traction on various surfaces.
