The adidas NMD R1 J “Japan - Core Black” released in 2019 and presented kids with the popular lifestyle sneaker in a clean and simple black and white colorway with Japanese characters added to the midsole. The straightforward and versatile adidas kids shoe features a black mesh upper that is offset with a white Boost midsole. Japanese text is then added to the front “bumper” on the lateral side, as well as directly onto the Boost foam on the medial heel — a detail that makes its debut on this release.
