The Nike LeBron 8 V/2 “MVP” is a sample edition of the shoe that would have released if LeBron James won the NBA MVP award in 2010-11. As you can see by the impressive look, it’s a shame that James didn’t come away with the MVP that season, as this would have made for an epic colorways in his signature sneaker series. The modified “Version 2” (V/2) construction for the LeBron 8 has a synthetic mesh upper and Flywire support. It was done in an eye-catching red and black gradient with solid red lines throughout the upper, all of which also glow in the dark. Since James did not win the MVP that season, the amazing colorway was shelved and never made it past the sample stage, making this one of the pairs in existence. MVP
