The Nike Kyrie 4 PE “Boston University” is a special player exclusive colorway of Kyrie Irving’s fourth signature shoe that released in extremely limited quantities. The colorway pays tribute to his parents, Drederick and Elizabeth, whose names are featured on the upper. The red and white colors and the large number 11 on the shoe are a tribute to Boston University, where Kyrie's dad wore number 11 for the Terriers basketball team. Worn by Irving early in the 2018-19 NBA season, the Nike Kyrie 4 PE “Boston University” released only at House of Hoops in Harlem and was limited to only 15 pairs. Boston University
