The Nike KD 6 “DC Preheat” was the debut colorway of the sixth Kevin Durant signature shoe. A special edition to help promote and build hype for the model, the “DC Preheat” colorway features a bold and bright look. At its base, the synthetic upper features an abstracted aerial map of Washington D.C. and the surrounding region where Durant grew up. The graphic is covered with jagged stripes that reference the inner workings of a watch, while neon lime, blue, and red colors accent the rest of the upper. The distinct colorway is completed with a translucent blue outsole. The Nike KD 6 “DC Preheat” released in very limited quantities in June 2013.
