The Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 “Blue Lagoon” is an innovative, self-lacing sneaker designed by Tinker Hatfield and Tiffany Beers that advances the once-fictional concept from an idea into a reality. Released in 2016, the HyperAdapt 1.0 features adaptive lacing technology that is activated by a heel sensor that automatically tightens its laces when prompted. Design wise, a white Swoosh appears on the sides of the black and Blue Lagoon woven mid-panel. A mock traditional lacing system automatically tightens and loosens the laces via access to Nike’s Adapt app. Please note: this listing is for a pair with a special edition shoe box.
