The Up There x ASICS GEL-Lyte III "Kookaburra" by the Australian retailer on a colorway of the retro running shoe inspired by the bird native to Australia. Commonly found in Eastern Australia and New Guinea, Kookaburra is known for its “laugh” that is synonymous with folks native to those countries. As for the design of the shoe, it features an earth tone color palette inspired by the bird’s appearance. The upper has a cream-tan-colored mesh base contrasted with dark brown speckled overlays on the forefoot and lower eyelets. More brown accenting is found on the hairy suede overlays on the quarter panel and heel. The model’s signature tiger stripes appear in a turquoise hue.
