This Asics Gel-Lyte 3 originally released in 2015 as one half of the "Romance Pack" to celebrate Valentine's Day. This pair of the classic running shoes represents the chocolates commonly gifted to significant others on the romantic holiday. A brown mesh upper is accented by tan suede overlays on the Gel-Lyte 3. Crinkled leather on the heel is a nod to candy wrappers. The brown split tongue is decorated with white graphics to resemble the drizzle seen on certain chocolates. A gum outsole on this edition of the Asics Gel-Lyte 3 "Romance Pack" completes the holiday-themed design.
