The Golden Goose Francy “Beige/Red Rose” is the luxury footwear brand’s take on the venerable ‘70s-era high-top basketball shoe. This release is part of the Golden Goose Archive collection, which pays tribute to the brand's original releases. The design of the Francy features Golden Goose’s “balance of perfect imperfection” ethos, which blends elements of high and low together in a succinct package. The beige canvas upper is intentionally rugged in appearance. This is achieved through a unique one-of-one process of hand painted markings and abrasions. A cracked white leather star design appears on the lateral side of the forefoot beneath the silver eyelet hardware. The medial side of the left shoe features a zip closure for easy on-off wearability. The lateral side of the right shoe displays a rose motif with the phrase “You” printed in black lettering.
