Subtle tweaks and reinterpretations breathe new life into this “Check Block” design. A chunky, tiered midsole with Vans’ signature checkerboard pattern wraps around the heel, while the rest of the vulcanized midsole remains traditional. A clean black canvas with contrasting white stitching, eyelets, and laces completes the upper, and a traditional waffle gum outsole ensures that things don’t stray too far from the model’s original and beloved design.
