The Futura x Off-White x Nike Dunk Low “UNC” is a rare, three-way collaboration by the graffiti artist, the late fashion and sneaker designer, and Nike on a colorway of the classic basketball shoe that was auctioned off via Sotheby’s in 2023. Revealed by the late Virgil Abloh at Off-White’s Spring/Summer 2020 runway show, the Dunk Low “UNC” was never released to the public until it was sold via a Sotheby’s auction in 2023. The shoe features a white leather base with graffiti-inspired graphics and contrasting University Blue leather overlays and Swoosh branding. A secondary, bungee-cord-like lacing system gives the shoe a decidedly modern look. A plastic zip-tie hangs off the laces. Futura and Off-White branding appear throughout the design.
