The Nice Kicks x adidas Crazy 8 ADV is a Consortium collaboration between adidas and Nice Kicks that first released in February 2018. It is a modern take on the adidas Crazy 8, a '90s basketball model worn by Kobe Bryant early in his career. This new stlye maintains the overall shape of the original shoe, but has a single-layer mesh upper. Chrome eyelets and an elastic ankle collar are other new features. Final touches include a nubuck overlay on the heel and concealed Boost in the midsole for extra cushioning. The Nice Kicks x adidas Crazy 8 ADV utilizes a '90s-inspired colorway with a white upper accented by hits of teal, pink, and purple. Nice Kicks and adidas branding can be seen on the tongue.
