The Turnstile x Converse Chuck 70 Hi “Blackout” is a collaboration by the Baltimore, Maryland based hardcore band and Converse on the classic high-top shoe. For its first-ever collaboration, Turnstile and Converse team up to give the Chuck 70 Hi a design inspired by the former’s love of skateboarding. The “Blackout” was released alongside a white-based colorway of the Converse One Star Pro. As for its design, the shoe at hand features a floating orb graphic that has been seen on various merch items by Turnstile since the release of its 2021 studio album entitled “Glow On.” The upper has a black canvas base, while a “Turnstile” branded license plate can be found on the heel of the black rubber sole.
