The Nike Air Max BW “Black Persian Violet” offers a new take on the retro performance running shoe’s original colorway from 1991. This September 2021 edition of the Air Max BW or “Big Window” flips the black-and-purple color block of the shoe’s launch colorway, the original “Persian Violet.” Black tumbled leather is found on the base. A white wraparound leather panel and Persian Violet accenting on the tongue, Swoosh, and inner lining contrast the black panels. Additional purple detailing comes into play on the “Air Max” branding on the heel and on the panel that surrounds the large visible Air window in the heel.
