That was certainly the case with the Patta x Nike Air Max 90 “Homegrown” that was released in 2006. Hailed by many Air Max collectors as the greatest Air Max 90 collaboration ever, the sneaker is inspired by a certain recreational herb that is legal in Patta’s home city of Amsterdam.
