The New Balance M997 “Blue/Lime” featured a colorway that very much appears to be inspired by the team uniform colors of the Seattle Seahawks. The vibrant look is a welcomed addition to the more subtle options within New Balance’s catalog and offers something out of the norm for core New Balance heads. A dark grey suede mid-panel is contrasted by loud neon green leather overlays on the forefoot, ankle collar and mudguard. New Balance equips the shoe with a navy blue mesh base on the toe with premium tonal suede appearing on the forefoot and heel. Blue embroidered New Balance branding can be found on the heel with contrasting white New Balance Made in the USA detailing landing on the blue suede tongue.
