The Danielle Cathari x Women’s New Balance 991v2 "Matcha" is a collaboration by the Amsterdam-based fashion designer and New Balance on the classic shoe. Nicknamed the “Matcha” due to its resemblance to the green tea leaf, the sneaker features a Matcha-colored pigskin suede overlay on the mid-panel and a Chocolate Brown mesh base. Grey and silver accents appear throughout the design. A grey “N” is seen on either side, and “991” detailing appears on the lateral side of the heel. Danielle’s signature branding can be found on the tongue tag beneath the “New Balance” logo. Underfoot, a dual ABZORB and FuelCell-cushioned midsole in cream and white completes the look.
