The Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 650R “White/Red” is yet another collaboration between the New York City based clothing brand and New Balance on the retro high-top shoe. The Aimé Leon Dore co-designed New Balance 650R is essentially a high-top version of the New Balance 550 sneaker that the former helped re-issue in 2020. The 650R features many of the same vintage-inspired details as the 550, including a cream midsole that mimics the look of a sole that’s undergone the process of oxidation, a cream nylon tongue, and more. Here, on the “White/Red” 650R, white leather appears on the shoe’s upper. A contrasting red “N” logo is located on the sides.
