The Basement x New Balance 2002R is a collaboration between the United Kingdom-based youth culture collective and New Balance on the retro-inspired lifestyle shoe. The Basement began as a streetwear community page on Facebook in 2013 before becoming a youth culture movement with thousands of followers and members in the ensuing years. Its collaborative New Balance 2002R updates the model with an olive green, water-resistant suede base and tonal overlays. Black accents can be found on the reinforced toe and mudguard.
