The Stray Rats x New Balance 574 “Red” is a January 2021 collaboration between the subversive streetwear label and New Balance. The “Red” 574 is one of two attention-grabbing colorways of the 574 model created by Stray Rats. Both designs followed the comically named “Sewer Stomper” 827 from the duo’s 2020 partnership. A rustic orange-red hairy suede material covers the upper, including the toe cap, mid-panel, collar, and heel. Magenta colored nylon can be found on the toe, tongue, and collar. The reflective “N” branding on either side of the shoe is finished off in the same shade of mossy green as the heel tab with tonal Stray Rats embroidery. The hue also dots the laces and top eyelet overlay. Dual Stray Rats and New Balance detailing can be found on the tongue to finish off the look. Release date: January 8, 2021. Stray Rats
