WWE's Liv Morgan Pulls Up to Stadium Goods for Sneaker Shopping with Complex

Complex’s Joe La Puma links with the popular sports entertainer to discuss her favorite Air Jordans, the custom shoes she wears in the ring, and much more.

World Wrestling Entertainment, otherwise known as simply the WWE, has been a household name in sports entertainment since launching its inaugural Wrestlemania show back in the mid-1980s. It staved off stiff competition from competitors WCW, ECW and more, in the 1990s, and upstart promotions like TNA and ROH in the 2000s and 2010s. Today, the WWE is in a league of its own, and that’s largely due to the contributions of its many talented athletes and superstars, including current WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion, Liv Morgan, who recently visited Stadium Goods in New York City for an episode of Complex’s Sneaker Shopping.

Liv, who grew up just outside of New York City in Elmwood Park, NJ, is one of the hottest rising superstars in the world of professional wrestling, having defeated Ronda Rousey to win the WWE Smackdown Women’s title earlier this year. It’s been a longtime coming for Liv, who broke into the WWE as a member of the Riot Squad in 2017. Before that, Liv had a brief run as a backyard wrestler.

“I wasn’t wearing shoes, I think I was barefoot,” says Liv when asked about her in-ring attire by Joe La Puma. Today, of course, things are a little different. Shoes like the Air Jordan 7 “Marvin the Martian,” Air Jordan 4 “Oreo,” and Air Jordan 1 Mid “New Love” are some of the Smackdown superstar’s most prized possessions.
